Fruit Cake Baking Contest and Christmas Cobbler Contest Rules

Contestants may only have one entry in the contest.

Fruit or cobblers must be home cooked (not store bought) and cannot contain commercial mixes. No artificial colors or flavoring.

All Fruit Cakes or cobblers must be fully baked. You and must not require refrigeration.

Any leftover items must be picked up by the contestants.

Please enter the entire item in a disposable pan. Aluminum Foil pan and covered with wrap

Each entry should have your name; phone number and title of your recipe must accompany your entry on the day of contest. You do not need to include the entire recipe. Contestants will then be given a ticket

Contestants may work individually or with a team. (Prizes will be awarded to one member/team only, NOT each individual.)
Contest Day:

Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. at Juice on the Corner located 101 E. Main Street . Judging will begin at 10:30 a.m., winners announced at 11:30 a.m.

No visitors, contestants or children are allowed in the judging area.
The Scoring System:

Each contestant will be assigned a number for judging. Submissions will be judged on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the highest.

You will be judged on taste, texture and appearance.

The Contest Committee will tally all of the ballots. The contestant with the highest score will be the winner. Judge’s decision is final.

1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded.
